Description
Taciturn Subterranean is the third LP from Modus Operanic. Taciturn
Subterranean means "silent underground", or a quiet place under the surface of the
earth. Fittingly, The album has plenty of dark-themed songs, and brings an even
larger focus on ambience over the previous two albums. The album begins at the
surface, and further in the songs give a cavern-like vibe with a lot of empty
spaces and reverb.
Several songs on the album reflect my mood at the time of
the album's creation, notably including underlying themes of unrequited love (although
they are not too obvious).
