Description
Stolen Memories is the second LP from Modus Operanic. This album
took a mostly ambient approach to the songs, which is better executed than the
ambience on Exploding City Lights. With better production and improved
songwriting over ECL as a whole, Stolen Memories was a worthy follow-up to the
debut.
On the other hand, this album still suffers from prolonged repetition and lack
of clear song direction. My musical knowledge at this time was still limited,
so most songs do not follow a clear structure (hence most of the album's
ambience).
