Sorry, Doc., title taken from a line spoken by Martin Keamy, a character on the
TV show Lost, is a collection of demos created to be used for the second Air
Castles album. This album consists of the best of the first session of demo creation
for The Air Castles, with Lakewater Digits and Trouble Above after it
also contributing to the pool of potential finalized tracks for the album. This album was to
be released simultaneously with the second TAC album, but I decided to release it early.
I started writing these songs as purely demos for the upcoming second Air Castles
album, but at some point during the process I decided that these songs were very strong
as they were, so the idea of releasing a companion album under the Modus name sprung up.
The Sorry, Doc. session timeframe begins in January 2008, running until August 2008
when I had an ample amount of demos completed. The continuation of these sessions began a
month later; those songs are released under the album Lakewater Digits.
